The beverage industry is one of the most extensive in the global market. Drinks present a diverse opportunity given the variety and forms in which they can be consumed.   • Healthy – No added sugar variety of RTD variety of drinks comes in several packings.

Below are a few of the ingredients provided to the Beverage industry:

  • Citric Acid – It helps to give lemon or citrus taste and flavour to the drink, used in RTD drinks such as teas, sodas juices and other drinks. It acts as a flavour enhancer.
  • Food Colour – Helps in giving an excellent colour to the drink/beverage. Brands such as International Flavours and Fragrances (IFF) Colours and Narmada premium Colours (NPC) are being marketed by Sarawagi Group.
  • Sodium Benzoate – It is a commonly used food preservative used in preserved foods, to prolong shelf life.
  • CMC (Sodium Metabisulphite) – It is also used as an antioxidant and acts as a food preservative. It is used in some baked products, juices or pickled foods.
  • Alcohol / Brewery Yeast – There are different types of yeast such as Wine, Thermal alcohol, Brewery Yeast. They help in fermentation of the alcohol which the yeast helps to develop.
  • Flavours – Products by International Flavours and Fragrances (IFF) which are suitable for juices, alcohols, whiskey and many other beverage-related items. They come in pack sizes of 500 ml, 1 litre, and 5 litres.
  • Caramel – It is used in the brewery and distillery industry for providing the colour in Whiskey.
  • Malt Extract – Helps to provide a natural malt flavour in Beer which also brings about the frothiness. It comes in 300 kgs drum and is also available in 21 kgs drums.
  • Vitamin C – Helps in improving the nutritional value of the final product. Hexagon Nutrition is the brand we are dealing with for Vitamin C.

  • Osterberg (Orana) – An economical range of syrups, fruit crushes and fruit fillings which have manifold applications.
    • Fruit Crushes – Contains about 25% fruit pulp and comes in 1.2 kg packing with 6 pieces in a box and shelf life of 12 months. Variety of flavours from Mango, Strawberry, Orange, Kiwi, Paan, Pineapple and many more. They can be used in smoothies, layering of cakes, topping in desserts etc.
    • Syrups – These are economical syrups with no other competitor in this range, they come in 750 ml plastic bottles with 6 bottles in a box and shelf life of 12 months. Diverse flavours such as Rasmalai, Lime, Vanilla, Hazelnut, Caramel and many more.
    • Fruit Fillings – One of the best ones available in the market with 55% fruit content, comes in 2.5 kgs buckets with 4 of such buckets in a box and a shelf life of 12 months. Used in the topping of cheesecakes, cakes, smoothies and desserts. They are also baked stable.
